If your child is under 21 years of age and is receiving medical treatment at Huntington Hospital, Ronald McDonald House provides a community supported “home away from home” for the families of those hospitalized kids.
Bereavement Support
Our support services include support to families who have suffered the loss of a child through miscarriage, fetal loss, stillbirth, neonatal or pediatric death.
Telephone Support
One-on-one support is available prenatal through post-discharge.
Volunteer Opportunities
Our parent volunteers are a vital component of Huntington Hospital’s family-focused neonatal team. Support parents offer the hope, empathy and valuable insights that only a parent who has “been there” can. Parent volunteers provide peer support to families experiencing the hospitalization of their child.
To learn more about volunteer opportunities, contact Brenda Burke with Parent Support Services at (626) 397-8509.
