Baby Bonding Program
Specialized RNs from our Mother Baby Unit who will be with you and your baby as your baby transitions from inside the womb to the outside world, providing skilled assessment and monitoring, assistance with skin to skin and early breastfeeding support.
Our Facilities
Right in your suite, caregivers have immediate access to the most advanced equipment and monitoring systems to welcome baby safely. Labor, delivery and recovery room (LDRs) for vaginal deliveries and three surgical suites for caesarean section deliveries are all in one area.
Typically, following delivery, mother and baby share the same room for the duration of their hospital stay. Our Mother Baby Unit offers 32 private rooms, and 6 rooms designated for phototherapy and other situations. Here, you and your family will be cared for as you bond with your new baby. All of our family-centered postpartum rooms include their own private bathroom and shower as well as televisions, telephones, fully adjustable beds, a bassinet for your baby and sleep accommodations for your support person.
