Quality & Public Reporting at Huntington Health

We strive to provide compassionate community care with the very best clinical practices and a personal touch.

Community Benefits Reporting

Building on our legacy as a vital institution that has served the community for more than 130 years, each year we proudly report our community benefit to the California Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development. The economic value of community benefits we provide in the form of vital health screenings, services and education averages $101 million annually. We publish a Community Benefits Plan annually.

Safety and High Reliability at Huntington Hospital

At Huntington Hospital, patient safety is a foundational value. We are actively advancing toward becoming a High Reliability Organization (HRO), where zero preventable harm is the goal and continuous improvement is the standard. Hospital leadership is accountable for driving safety initiatives, with clear plans, measurable outcomes, and transparent communication across departments and to the governing board. Our culture supports speaking up, learning from mistakes, and testing new ideas in a safe environment – all in service of delivering high-value care that is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable.
