Pediatric Care in La Canada (Descanso)

Our pediatric care office has been serving the community of La Canada for over 60 years. We are well integrated into the community and take great pride in providing excellent medical care.

Our physicians practice in a personalized manner and are dedicated to ensuring the optimal health and well-being of your children. We treat children from newborn through 19 years of age, and we understand that every child’s needs are unique.

Our physicians enjoy strong relationships with specialists in the community, including those at Huntington Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and UCLA, which allows for convenient access to leading pediatric specialists.

In addition to well-checks and sick visits, did you know that we offer sports physicals? A sports physical involves vision and hearing tests, blood pressure, weight and height measurements, medication refills, vaccines, a comprehensive exam, sports questionnaire, depression screening and time to discuss personal concerns with subsequent counseling.

We are currently accepting new patients. Please call us at (626) 397-8368 for a referral to a pediatrician currently open to new patients. Availability will vary by pediatrician.

Our Providers

Lactation Education Support for New Families

Our pediatric nurses are certified Lactation Education Specialists, trained to help families with newborn feeding concerns. If your child’s pediatrician identifies an issue, such as slower weight gain, weight loss, or feeding challenges you’ve noticed, they may recommend a dedicated nurse visit.

Each nurse completes BreastfeedLA’s 45‑hour Lactation Education Specialist course, which provides practical, evidence‑based training in breastfeeding support. You can learn more at breastfeedla.org.
