About Your Surgery

Preparing for Surgery

We partner with you to make sure you complete all necessary steps are complete prior to your surgery date.

Working With Your Physician

  • Your physician will discuss your operation with you during your office visit, and your surgical appointment will be scheduled at that time.
  • Please be sure to tell your doctor about any existing medical conditions and any medication that you are currently taking.

After Your Surgery Is Scheduled

  • After your surgery is scheduled, you will receive a phone call from a member of our nursing staff to obtain a basic health history and to review your preoperative instructions. Or, you may call us at (626) 229-8999 to receive your instructions. It is very important that you speak with someone from the Center prior to the date of your surgery.
  • You will also hear from a member of our business office staff regarding your insurance coverage and your portion of the bill. They will discuss the fee for your surgery, your co-payment, co-insurance, or deductible so there are no surprises. Payment of your responsibility is expected in full prior to your date of service or when you register. For your convenience we accept cash, personal checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Sharing Pre-Op Tests & Physicals

  • If you’ve had any pre-operative tests or a history and physical performed within 30 days prior to surgery, please ask your physician to fax the reports to us prior to your arrival. Our confidential clinical information fax number is (626) 768-7566 (Attn: Pre-Op Nurses).
