“When it comes to lung cancer, early detection truly does save lives. In California, however, only 1% of those eligible, are getting screened, so it is important that we normalize screening.” – Nurse Navigator Christine Conti

Screening & Diagnosis

As with most cancers, early detection is critical. Diagnostic imaging is the cornerstone of diagnosis, staging and follow-up of patients with lung cancer and other malignancies of the chest.

Screening and diagnostic service options at Huntington Hospital include PET Scan, CT Scan, MRI, Bone scan, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, and more. We are also proud to offer SuperDimension, a new, minimally invasive procedure to help patients with pulmonary disease (including cancer of the lung).

Huntington Cancer Center is your partner for lung cancer diagnosis and the rest of your cancer journey.
