Pasadena Fire Department’s “Pasadena Goes Pink” fundraising donates over $16,000 to the Jim and Eleanor Randall Breast Center
Dec 17 2018

Every year, Pasadena Fire Department partners with Huntington Hospital during October to bring awareness to breast cancer with “Pasadena Goes Pink” fundraisers. Recently, Pasadena firefighters presented a check for $16,153 to physicians, nurses and administrative staff to support the Jim and Eleanor Randall Breast Center. This generous donation is the result of fundraising at California Pizza Kitchen, merchandise sales and “filling the boot” on the streets of Pasadena. This gift will be used to ensure breast cancer screenings and treatments are available to all women in our region, including patients who cannot afford the cost of care. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to Pasadena Fire Department’s Chief Washington and Danae La Trobe for their ongoing support of women’s health in our community.
