Huntington Health offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision at no cost to the resident and a nominal fee for family. Additional benefits include a flexible spending account, long-term disability insurance, and retirement planning.

Other Benefits:
Huntington Health provides an annual $10,000 housing stipend. Please see chart at the top of the webpage for current salaries as of July 1, 2025.
Liability and Malpractice coverage is provided for residents while on duty in the hospital or on approved rotations at participating institutions.
Each resident receives 4 weeks of paid vacation, up to twelve sick days and up to six holidays per year.
Residents are provided a daily food stipend, which can be used in our cafeteria.
White coats with your embordered names and the Huntington Health logo are provided and can be dry cleaned in our Concierge Department free of charge. On-Call rooms are provided and assigned on a permanent basis for the duration of training.
Complimentary on-campus parking is provided.
Postgraduate Training License, California Physicians and Surgeons license and DEA will be reimbursed by the program.
Step 3 exam fees will be reimbursed by the program for categorical residents.
Conference funds are available for attending and presenting at national and regional conferences.
Educational stipends are available for Board preparation materials and access to technology.
